Children are God's gift to parents. They are not a privelege but a responsibility. It is an entrustment.
Sometimes no matter how much we shelter and provide, no matter how much we plan and pray, no matter how much we give and offer, no matter how much we love and nurture, we still lose and fail.
If we lose and fail, if the gift is taken away, we cannot lay blame, nor can we despair. We can only hope that God will gift us another.
A friend lost a child today. I'm sure there will be more gifts for her.
